A powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake has devastated western Colombia, killing at least 111 people and damaging more than 1,500 homes. Major destruction has been reported in Cali, Pereira, Quibdo, Manizales and surrounding areas, with buildings and infrastructure damaged and people trapped under rubble. Rescue teams are working around the clock to find survivors, while the government has declared a national emergency. More aftershocks have already been recorded, raising concerns about further damage.
